June

Happy last week of school! We will do a lot of celebrating this week with various activities. All students have worked hard and made so much growth during 5th grade and their time at Lincoln.  I am so grateful for the wonderful year we shared. It has been a privilege to be your child's teacher!

Library Books:  Please help your child remember to return ALL library books. Our class still has 8 books checked out from the library. The media center is asking students to return ALL books they have checked out to ensure all books are returned by the end of the year. If you can keep an eye out for our classroom library books, that would be extra helpful as well. They should all be marked!

Kiwanis Park- 5th Graders will be heading to Kiwanis Park Wednesday 6/8. We will walk to the park at 12:00, eat lunch under the pavilion, play at the park, and head back to school at 3:00. We will return back to school at 3:20 pm. Parents are not permitted to chaperone this year, but are encouraged to send students with a lunch, plenty of water and sunscreen to be outside enjoying the park for a few hours.
