End of Trimester 1-  Friday, 11/19, marks the end of our first trimester. Friday will be a half day with dismissal at 12:09. All late work must be turned in by Friday to be graded for this Trimester. 
*Report cards will be sent home the week of 11/22.

Thanksgiving Break- Next Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, November 24th-26th will be off for Thanksgiving Break.

Writing- Personal Narratives were due this past Friday. Students will get their grades for their Personal Narrative back this week in Writing. If anyone would like to make changes they can be resubmitted any time before the end of the day Friday 11/19.

LUNCH

We would like to remind everyone that breakfast and lunch are FREE again this year to every St Joseph Public School student. Please try to remember to pre-order your student’s lunches when they are going to participate in lunch.  This helps speed up the morning lunch count process.  You will be allowed to order the Friday before the next week using www.sendmoneytoschool.com.  


Reminders-

  • Bring a water bottle to school every day
  • Use door #6

Cold Weather:  Sadly our days are becoming cooler.  Please remember your child is outside up to 4 times a day with gym and 3 recesses.  If the outdoor temperature is below 60, they must have long sleeves.  Please send them in layers so that they can stay warm.

End of Week 1!

  What an amazing first week we had! It was so nice to be able to connect with each of your kids during the past four days.   Everyone did their very best to stay focused and on task even with the excitement of a new school year. I can tell this is going to be a fantastic year! NWEA- We will begin our first NWEA testing session Tuesday morning with Math and again Thursday morning for Reading. We will reassess students in the Winter and Spring to watch their growth throughout the year. Back to School Night- Back to School Night this year will be IN PERSON!  We will meet in Room 206 at 5:00-5:45. The presentation will help to convey information about accessing our weekly blog, Google Classroom, Curriculum highlights and other important classroom expectations. Friday Folders- This year students will be bring home mail on Fridays in their Purple Friday Folder. Please look through their mail for graded work, tests, permission slips, and school information each week. ...
