    Last week before break    12/13-12/17 Winter Break- 12/18- 1/2 Holiday Spirit Days and Special Dress Up Days This Week: Monday:   Wear White like a Snowman or Dress up like a Snowman Tuesday:  Wear Rudolph Red Day Wednesday:  Wear Grinch Green Day Thursday:  Wear an Ugly Sweater Day Friday:  Wear an Elf Costume or dress up like an Elf Day Important Dates-  Winter Holiday Party- 12/17 AFTER LUNCH Holiday Concert at HS- 12/17 9:00am  School resumes- 1/3 MLK Jr. Day- 1/17 No School Sarett Cross Country Skiing- 1/20 9:30-2:00 Holiday Party - Our Holiday Party will be Friday, December 17th after lunch. We will be watching the Movie Polar Express and comparing it to the book which we will read as a class. Parents can help by sending in snacks and treats to enjoy during the movie. Students can also bring in blankets and pillows to use during the movie.   = Holiday Party - Our Holiday Party will be Friday, December 17th. We will be watching the Movie Polar Express and comparing it to the book which we will read as a class. Parents can help by sending in snacks and treats to enjoy during the movie. Check out the sign up HERE , and remember everything will need to store bought- individually packaged is preferred. Students can also bring in blankets and pillows to use during the movie. If you have any questions or concerns about our party please email kgriffith@stjoebears.com.  Ice Skating-  This Wednesday, December 8th, 5th Graders will walk to the John and Dede Howard Ice Arena. We will leave school at 9:45, skate from 10:00-10:40, and return to school after. Students will not need and money for this event (no snacks will be available for purchase).  Please make sure to send your child with warm clothes and thick socks .
