Send Chromebooks, chargers, and sleeves to school for collection MONDAY! We will still use these at school, but will not be sending them home each day.

Social Studies Informational Writing- Your 5th grader is finishing up the year with an Informational Essay about an individual/event from the Revolutionary War era.  The students have been introduced to several sites to use and are in the midst of researching, taking notes, and writing their essay.  On their Google Classroom they can find the information needed to be successful.  We have gone over this as a class. Please help me by asking frequently about how things are going! Essays are due this FRIDAY!

Kiwanis Park- 5th Graders will be heading to Kiwanis Park Wednesday 6/8. Students will walk to the park at 12:00, eat lunch under the pavilion, play at the park, and head back to school at 3:00. We will return back to school at 3:20 pm. Parents are not permitted to chaperone this year, but are encouraged to send students with a lunch, plenty of water, and sunscreen to be outside enjoying the park for a few hours.
